Food supply is one of the vital elements that society depends on and there is always a need to maintain its quality and physical survival. Despite of the various technologies and designs to minimize the growth and survival of pathogenic biological agents in food processing, there are always factors that threaten food safety and, as a result, food security. Today, one of the global challenges is climate change. Climate change has diverse and widespread effects on the environment, including the preparation and supply of food from it and for it. These effects, including global temperature increase, polar ice melting, sea level rise, change in precipitation patterns, increase in intensity and number of extreme weather phenomena such as hurricanes and droughts, in terms of agriculture and natural resources, may affect the environment, cultivation pattern, food and as a result affect food security and be considered a threat to it. Food security is the general and vital term that is defined as the access of all people at all times and throughout their lives to have enough foods for a healthy life, and this is important when obtains that sustainable agriculture can be popularized i.e. sustainable methods for various purposes including maintaining healthy and high-quality production for a long time. Therefore, the present paper studies the impact of climate change on food security (threat or opportunity), and solutions to reduce its negative impact like long-term storage and preservation of food and dealing with solutions based on It deals with renewable nature.
